What this site stores
GoCard Insights only holds the trip rows you import from your own Translink GoCard travel history. Nothing is collected about you automatically. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no profile. The figures on every page are derived from those imported rows and from public fare and fuel datasets described on the About & sources page.
What this site does not do
No third-party analytics, no advertising networks, and no behavioural trackers run on this site. Your trip data is never sold, shared, or sent to any third party. It does not leave the deployment it was imported into.
Where your data lives
Imported trips are stored in a per-environment Cloudflare D1 (SQLite) database that backs this deployment. The database is single-tenant, so the public demo is a shared showcase dataset rather than a private per-visitor store. If you want your own private copy, run your own deployment and import your own history.
Clearing data
On a private deployment, the "Clear Data" control wipes every imported trip at any time. On the public demo this control is intentionally disabled (demo lock) so the single shared dataset stays intact for everyone viewing it.
